In our bedroom after the war
I’ve got some money I saved throughout summertime. I’m gonna invest on Super 8. Since I have no clue in what bizarre world I’m entering, any information would be more than welcome. On the other hand I don’t believe that any of my 8-10 readers has ever used the medium. How possible would that be.
Another issue of this pointless post is a geeky question. Can someone please explain me why when I open a jpeg for something non-apple (see Firefox) colors, contrast and brightness is utterly different? I have the feeling that my photographs are nothing like what I see.
Since I still haven’t developed any roll, check out some digital afterhour-homealone-boredomborn experiment with the D200. I think I haven’t touched a digital camera in more than a year.
Take you on a cruise
Yesterday I went back to Czech Republic on a colorful salad of mixed feelings about pretty much everything. I spent a good whole hour in the queue trying to enroll myself for the next year. I got drunk and went out on the first official friday night-out of the year. They say the same thing about this famous friday as in new year’s. I guess my year is gonna be pretty wasted. I still have 2-3 rolls to develop from the Greece days. These are some random moments I decided to finally upload. Leica M7, nokton 35/1.4, nikon FM, nikkor 35/2, fuji superia and a frame of tri-x. yay.

two days in milano
Actually was a whole week, but I thought it’d be cool an all. My father wanted to visit an old friend of his and since I had nothing exciting to do in Patras decided to follow. I don’t get to see my father much anyways so. The black & whites are on trix and the color on superia.
It’s hard to get my father on a train and distract him from sleeping. Ancona – Milano.
maps and lowepros.
duomo.
badass 14 year olds.
this one looks way better zoomed.
my father obviously was bullshitting me on how good he knew the city (he studied there).

never understood how people massively swim in lakes.
father sleeping in a train, go figure.
Sprout And The Bean
So I can pretty say that I’m getting obsessed with joanna newsoms weirdness. I also can’t stop listening to that spour and the bean thing. On other news I kinda managed to post bigger pictures on this blog. You just have to click them and the second coming of jesus happens. Ah, wordpress. I could just upload them on the blogs database but firstly its so slow that gets painful and secondly… godamnit I’ve paid for pro account on flickr! I got to use it somewhere!
The following six (wow) frames are from a fun weekend I spent in athens with the guys. A pretty wasted weekend I’d say.
somewhere in monastiraki area we found this retro sticker-poster bombed passage. nick though it’d be cool to take a portrait within portraits. hmm.
stelios in the same passage looking through a closed record shop.
strangers during lunch.
my favourite of the roll.
nick getting our money in pool.
