Take you on a cruise
Yesterday I went back to Czech Republic on a colorful salad of mixed feelings about pretty much everything. I spent a good whole hour in the queue trying to enroll myself for the next year. I got drunk and went out on the first official friday night-out of the year. They say the same thing about this famous friday as in new year’s. I guess my year is gonna be pretty wasted. I still have 2-3 rolls to develop from the Greece days. These are some random moments I decided to finally upload. Leica M7, nokton 35/1.4, nikon FM, nikkor 35/2, fuji superia and a frame of tri-x. yay.
maria with the killer smile. bad composition is good composition.
harry being harry.
george and the kickass tee. lefkada island.
federico vs old holbon.
gabrielle.
kite surfers in a very soft performance of the nikkor. sunlight’s ain’t good for lenses boy.

mother gardening, father acting homeless.
and back to pilsen life. Afonso and Dino.
Till next time, stay classy.

You make me want to try analogue photography.
Your photos are…
full of lovely grittiness.
Do you usually develop the film yourself?
get to it!
black and whites I can handle developing but still, I suck. most of the work is done by some lab. color film I’ve never even tried to learn the procedure.
thanks for the comment
Yes, definitely will!
I have a few friends who are avid photographers but they’re heavily into digital. For some reason I’ve always been infatuated with oldschool, film…like, real photography. Where chemistry forms a picture. It’s much more raw and unique. If that makes sense….
I want to RSS or add you somehow to keep myself updated with your posts but I’m so new to the blogging thing I have no clue how to. [god that's such a long sentence]
firstly thanks, secondly.. you can get yourself a nice RSS reader (I use Shrook). It’s pretty easy to deal with. Just add the url and it’ll do all the work by itself.
done!
That’s cool. I added it on my blogroll too.
And no worries, i’m really excited to see/read more from you!
Hi there,
I found out about your blog through (I think at least) Rangefinderforum.com I enjoy your blog quite a bit. Always full of interesting images (and a great place to see examples of the nokton 35 1.4) Great to see another person my age using film and putting their camera to good use! Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the flattering comment jonathan. I’m looking at your flickr right now and i can see you’ve done some terrific street work there. do you blog or i’ll keep up with flickr?
these photographs look so cool. i never get such sweet colors from the superia. very nice. did you scan these with the canon flatbed?
nah nah, the flatbet is history (thank god). now I scan with a LS2000 but these are scanned from a lab.
