no more winters
Yesterday I watched Farväl Falkenberg and I still have mixed thoughts about it. One thing is for sure though, the ost is amazing. After a long period of time I shot slides again, provia 100. Since I don’t develop color film and the local lab only does C-41 process, crossing was inevitable. Not that I don’t like xpro but I know at least one person that thinks it’s a waste of film (stelios?). The lab dude also offered me some expired provias for a ridiculous price and of course I’ll get them, but Plzen’s moody weather is not exactly ideal for 100 speed films. In other news I still have a couple of tri-x rolls from berlin to develop but exam period can be rather stifling. Once again, leica M7 and nokton 35/1.4.
yeah, don’t ask.
beware our nubile miscreants
Medicine is all about getting people healthy or whatever but currently it’s just killing me. The past week can be summarized in words like stress, caffeine, neurotic breakdowns, cheeseburgers and dreams of possible threesomes. Let’s just hope next week will be different. Sometime ago I went to see mister woody and his new orleans jazz band live. In the worst possible venue, prague conference center. They were brilliant and all but the atmosphere smelled social masturbation, dress code and pseudomature conversations. Shot with leica M7, nokton 35/1.4 on tri-x. Pushed at 3200 with tmax developer (24′C for 12 minutes). Usuall stuff.
the man himself.
postconcert ejection.
After the gig I waited with miriam for some time. Don’t really know why but I guess we failed groupie-wise. I found the note inspiring.
Back to Plzen, one more nightout. These frames had a little light leak, I blame my lousy developing skills.
cheesecakes.
ice cream van
I’m not lost yet. I’ve developed quite many rolls but I don’t want to waste-scan them with the 4400F. George was kind enough to bring me an old LS-2000. I’m still in search for a way to use this SCSI beast on tiger. Till then digitals only.
Greetings from a cold, cold, almost monochrome Czech Republic.
