More frames from my short visit to london. This time cleaner and more interesting I guess. Again, leica M7 and tmax 400 pushed to 1600 asa with tmax developer at 20′C.

tourist essentials.

chris looking hot.

definitely my favorite from this roll.

creepy.

back at chris’ flat. Say hello to Kaleigh.

next morning we decided to chill a bit in regent’s park. Surprisingly london treated us well and the weather was pretty good.

thats a brief demonstration of my new thing. I cut peoples feet in photographs. Hell yeah.

Sofi met us there too.

chris rocking this diablo thingy.

I think these shots where better and more kindly treated that my last post. I still have more stuff from london so expect posts in the days to come. Let’s all pray I’ll get the same greys in the next rolls.

The LDN chronicles part one

So ladies and gentlemen, after a month or so I finally got to connect the LS-2000 Coolscan with my computer. This lifechanging incident occurred somewhere between 09:00-10:00 yesterday morning when a SCSI to Firewire adaptor arrived. I was in the middle of an intergalactic battle, in which every alien had nice boobs, when the doorbell woke me up. As I opened the door (with just boxers and stylish hair) I could see a gentle cloud of smoke coming out from my flat. I signed the fed ex dude and something tells me he run afterwards because of me and not for some urgent delivery. Scanning with a coolscan changed a lot. I learned a lot of things about photography, life an’ all. First thing I realized is that I cannot focus under f2. Nope, not for me. Secondly, I cannot meter nor compose. Thirdly I really need to get myself some wetting agent (flashback: Bernhard almost had a stroke when I told him I don’t use one. Wise man, especially after some amount of beer). Finally, I realized how badly I need to clean my flat here and there. The following hideous frames can be described only as stickers thrown open to a sandcastle, then to oil, then chewed and spit out again. Yep pretty much. Leica M7, nokton 35/1.4, Tmax 400 @ 1600 in Tmax developer, 20′C for 8.5 minutes, dust, watermarks.

no smoking law sucks big time.

dust is so artistic.

harry in a I-want-my-mommy pose.

mirrors in elevators are so exciting.

harry showing us some chicks. They have fetish themed parties in his uni.

-”no way”

-”yes way”.

next morning me and nick went in search of some headphones. we only found them in pink.

again.

we gave up, went for burgers and then headed home.

our fav friend chris decided to go cycling at 21:00 and we had to wait for him to open the door for “5 minutes”. Thank god there was beer across the street.

These are actually shots from the last days in london but since I’m retarded I developed them first. Cheers.
